The Mangal
The Koetai network — a directory of every running instance.
A mangal is the whole ecosystem of many mangroves. Each
Koetai node watches its own RDF graphs — the mangroves —
from the waterline, like the anableps for which it is named.
This page is the ecosystem that ties those nodes together.

Run your own Koetai
Koetai is open source. You bring a triplestore backend (QLever, Fuseki, Oxigraph, or a Comunica federation) and Koetai gives it a FAIR front door — ORCID sign-in, a SPARQL workbench, a FAIR Data Point and VoID statistics.
- Clone the platform:
git clone https://github.com/Koetai/koetai-platform.git - Configure a triplestore backend and your
BASE_URLinconfig.py/ environment. - Run it behind a reverse proxy on your own domain and load your datasets.
Get listed in the Mangal
Once your instance is online, add it to the registry with a pull request:
- Edit
mangal.yamlin the koetai-platform repository. - Add a block with your
name, url, operator, orcidand a shortdescription. - Open the PR. Once merged, every node re-renders the list on its next redeploy, so your instance appears across the whole network.
The registry is served as RDF using DCAT (
dcat:Catalog / dcat:DataService) —
request Accept: text/turtle to harvest it.
